NEW to downtown Baltimore! The downtown area has been designated as a social district – The Social Wave – meaning that participating businesses may sell alcoholic beverages to-go, and can be consumed outdoors within the designated downtown area between posted signage.
Social District Rules

Look for the businesses below with "The Social Wave" stickers on their window

Order an adult beverage of your choice and it will be poured into a social district marked cup

Only alcohol purchased from participating establishments may be consumed within the social district.

You may enjoy your drink responsibly within the social district boundaries that are marked with signage

Please properly dispose of your cup in trash receptacles around town

Cups cannot be taken from one establishment into another establishment

Fall means Countryfest and Trick-or-Treat Downtown, a Halloween tradition families look forward to all year on Washington Street. Even winter gets in on it New Baltimore Winterfest fills a February weekend with free kids' activities, games, face painting, and contests, right alongside the Polar Plunge for the grown-ups.
